‘Inevitable’ monopoly a tough call for Commerce Commission

The Commerce Commission is finding it needs more and more time to consider the creation of a cash distribution monopoly in New Zealand, a situation dubbed “inevitable” by the Reserve Bank.
One of two cash-in-transit businesses in the country, giant Armaguard began selling its New Zealand wing to Evergreen NZ Holdings earlier this year.
